A LATE Chester photographer’s personal photographs capturing one of The Queen’s visits to Chester in the early 1980’s have been shared.

John Pawley owned Cheshire Video which he established in the early eighties just off City Road in Chester, where he became a popular local photographer and videographer up until 2009. John sadly passed away in July 2010, but his daughter, Alexandra has revealed some of the images he captured during a royal visit from the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II over 40 years ago.

John’s daughter, Alexandra described her dad as “a lovely man, who would do anything for anyone”, as she shared the private prints which her Father took when The Queen and Prince Phillip visited Chester in what is believed to be around 1982.
