Luke Littler's 4X4 experience at Bahrain International Circuit

The Warrington 17-year-old was chauffeur-driven up and down landscapes on such terrains as sand and rock as well as tackling water features in a 4X4 vehicle ahead of getting back to his comfort zone on the oche for his first appearance since winning the World Darts Championship.

After buckling up, there were nerves, even fear, in his facial expressions as he discovered the capability of the vehicle on the course of natural and man-made obstacles at Bahrain International Circuit where Formula 1 has been hosted since 2004.

“What an experience that was,” said ‘The Nuke’ who went on to defeat 2024 PDC Asian Championship winner Lourence Ilagen 6-3 as he set out on his defence of the first senior title he won in 2024.

Littler will continue his journey with a quarter-final appearance against Gerwyn Price on Friday.
