FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a fire in the open in Ellesmere Port.
One fire crew attended to the blaze at about 7.30pm last night (Wednesday, June 9).
On arrival firefighters discovered about two metres of conifers well alight.
One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
