A CHOIR'S Christmas concerts raised hundreds of pounds for a children's charity.
The NE Singers performed at Neston Parish Church in December and also sang carols in Neston's market square.
Members of the choir collected money for the Northern Lights charity and they have now handed over a cheque for £537.
Northern Lights sends children with life-limiting illnesses on holidays to Lapland at Christmas. To celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2017 the charity also took 10 less mobile children to Disneyland in Paris.
The children are selected from the North West of England, with many coming from the Wirral and Chester.
NE Singers meet weekly at the Parkgate and Neston United Reform Church. New members are welcome and can contact 0151 336 3348 for further information.
