YOUNGSTERS at a Chester school have been going wild for a good cause.
Children at Huntington Primary School had a 'Wear it Wild Day', on Friday, June 11, to raise money and awareness of the World Wildlife Fund.
A school spokesperson said: "Our families and staff have really risen to the challenge, with parents creating some fantastic costumes and face painting.
"Children across the school have completed lots of cross curricular tasks regarding wildlife and the importance of us helping to protect their habitats.
"This has linked really nicely with the 90th birthday of Chester Zoo. At Huntington, we have a strong belief that learning in the outdoors and through nature is a great way of looking after our mental and physical well-being, as well as learning to respect nature.
"Our eco co-ordinator organises a similar event each year but as we've been through lockdown, this year is extra special."
