Students from the University of Chester are hoping to raise more than a glass at a charity

cocktail masterclass.

Events management students, Laura D’Alessandro,19, Mattia Carr, 21, and Pinky Liu, 21, have organised the event in aid of Hospice of the Good Shepherd, a provider of palliative care for residents of Cheshire West and Chester and Deeside.

The masterclass, which is being held at The Alchemist in Chester, will allow participants to explore the art of cocktail mixology.

Team leader Laura said: “We are very excited to host this evening at such a premier venue, and we are hoping to raise lots of money to support the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, which is such a fantastic local charity.”

Janet Uttley, corporate and major donor manager at the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, said: “We rely on voluntary donations to help fund the £11,000 needed every day to provide care and support at the hospice.

“We hope everyone will support the students, who have worked so hard on their event.

“We want to thank them for their kindness in selecting us as their chosen charity.”

Tickets are £20 per person and you must be aged 18 or over. To book visit https://lmpeevents.wixsite.com/cocktailmasterclass or email lmpeevents@gmail.com
