A CHARITY has been named as the winner of a Jorvik Tricycles giveaway, receiving a new adult tricycle worth £1,000.
The competition, open to charitable organisations and social enterprises across Chester and the surrounding area, gave one organisation the chance to secure a tricycle designed to support sustainable and inclusive mobility for adults who may struggle to use a traditional two-wheeled bicycle.
Organisations were invited to nominate themselves to win, with a short summary of their impact and why a tricycle would make a difference.
Entries were judged on the impact they made to their local community, the difference a tricycle could make to their work, and how effectively it would support their organisation’s aims.
Based in Wrexham, Cycling 4 All runs the Pedal Power initiative, an inclusive cycling programme dedicated to providing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy cycling.
