Search the Public Notice PortalA FURNITURE and homeware brand appears set to open its first store in Chester after plans were lodged with Cheshire West and Chester Council.
Cotswold Company have applied to install external signage at 44 Foregate Street in the city centre, with the frontage to be changed to incorporate the brand’s colours and a new hanging sign to be attached to the mock-Tudor Ye Olde Royal Oak Hotel building.
The location was most recently a Holland and Barrett store, but that brand has since moved to Eastgate Street.
The plans were submitted this week by the Norfolk company which has another Cheshire location in Knutsford.

Cotswold Company sells a wide range of items from bespoke beds, to dining and kitchen furniture, sofas and homeware.
The application includes details of a dark green frontage with white text displaying the company name, and a projecting sign in the same colours which will be illuminated externally.
The plans are currently under consideration by the council’s planning department.
