A PR agency has rebranded and launched a new website as it aims for national growth and a place among the UK’s top firms.
Chester-based Magnify PR, founded in 2024 by journalist and author Nick Owens, was recently named one of Entrepreneur UK’s 100 Start-Ups to Watch.
Mr Owens said: "We built Magnify PR because I believed journalism's instincts were getting lost in PR, and two years on, we've landed dozens of front pages, helped change a law, and built a client list we're very proud of.
"That's not the end goal, though.
"I want us to be the agency people think of first when they've got a story worth telling, not just here in the North West, but right across the UK."
The agency has grown to represent more than 40 clients across sectors including broadcasting, sport, charity, property, and education.
Magnify PR has led high-profile campaigns such as George’s Law, which calls for paid bereavement leave for parents who lose a child, and has worked with The Ben Kinsella Trust, a knife-crime campaign group.
Later this year, the agency will lead the release of Frank Bruno’s new autobiography, Still Fighting—the third book Mr Owens has ghostwritten with the former world boxing champion.
Despite its national ambitions, Magnify PR remains committed to Chester.
The agency is the headline sponsor of the Chester Business Club Young Person’s Business Awards, which it launched two years ago to provide free mentoring for young entrepreneurs.
It has also sponsored the Chester Business Club charity walk for the past three years.
