DETECTIVES investigating a serious assault at a bar in Nantwich have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to.
At around 11.55pm on Saturday, August 21, officers in Nantwich were notified by ambulance colleagues of a serious assault at a bar in the Welsh Row area of the town.
It was reported that a 19-year-old man sustained injuries to his face around 10 minutes prior.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment and his injuries, whilst not life-threatening, may be life-changing.
Officers have been conducting a number of enquiries to fully establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.
The man is described as black, with dark brown/black hair and was wearing a navy-blue top and white trainers.
Officers believe he holds vital information in relation to the incident.

Detective Constable Hollie Ikin, of Crewe CID, said: “Nobody goes for a night out with the expectation of being seriously assaulted and we have been conducting a number of lines of enquiry to fully understanding the circumstances surrounding the incident.
“With that in mind, we are now looking to identify the man pictured as we believe he holds vital information.
“Anyone who recognises him is asked to please contact us.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to appeal to the man pictured and ask him directly to get in touch.”
