THE woman accused of causing the death of Oswestry’s Tallie Brazier will stand trial in Chester next year.
Debra Green, 53, of 4 Chalfont Crescent, Weston, formally entered a not guilty plea to causing death by dangerous driving at Chester Crown Court on Friday, September 4.
She also denied causing injury by dangerous driving in relation to Rhys Evans – Miss Brazier’s boyfriend – who was driving the vehicle involved in the incident with Green.
Miss Brazier died in the incident on the A5117 Shotwick to Frodsham Road in Elton on April 15, 2024.

The hearing on Friday was the first opportunity for the defendant to formally enter pleas.
Matthew Dunford, for the prosecution, told Judge Patrick Thompson that a trial date of November 8, 2027 was available and the hearing was expected to last five days.
There will be a case management hearing on March 25, 2027 to allow for discussion of potential reports required for the case.
Judge Thompson confirmed the trial date and gave Green unconditional bail.
