CHESTER will once again welcome a hugely popular artisan market and much more on Saturday.
The Chester Artisan Food & Craft Market will be bringing together some of the North West’s finest independent traders, makers, artists and street food vendors for a full day of shopping, entertainment and community spirit.
Widely recognised as the largest artisan market in Chester, the event has become a must-visit destination for both locals and visitors alike, regularly attracting thousands of people throughout the day.
A spokesperson for the event said: “We’re incredibly proud to host what has become Chester’s largest artisan market.
“The support from the public has been amazing, and every event is packed with talented independent businesses offering something truly unique.

“It’s more than just a market – it’s a full day out for families, food lovers and shoppers alike.”
Taking place at The Carriage Shed from 11am until 4pm, the market promises an exciting mix of artisan food, handmade crafts, fresh produce, boutique gifts and family-friendly entertainment, all set within one of Chester’s most vibrant event spaces.
Visitors can expect everything from freshly baked goods and gourmet street food to handmade jewellery, local artwork, sweet treats, candles, homeware and unique gifts – all from carefully selected independent businesses from across the region.
Alongside the shopping experience, guests will also be able to enjoy live music, fresh coffee, a fully stocked cocktail bar and a welcoming atmosphere designed to support small businesses while creating a fantastic day out for all ages.
The spokesman, for organisers Artisan Market Group, say the market continues to grow in popularity each month thanks to its strong community feel and focus on high-quality independent traders.
They said: “The event is completely free to attend and is also dog friendly, making it the perfect weekend destination for families and visitors exploring the city.
“With warm weather forecast and another busy turnout expected, visitors are encouraged to arrive early to make the most of everything on offer.”
