COMMUTERS are reminded that a major Chester road will be closed until Thursday.
The A540 Parkgate Road will be closed up until May 21 because of roadworks between Long Lane and the city centre.
A spokesman for Inrix, the highways monitoring website, confirmed the closure of the road.
It said: “The A540 Parkgate Road both ways closed because of roadworks between Long Lane (Saughall) and A5480 Countess Way (Blacon roundabout, Chester).
“(In place) until May 21.”
Google Maps is also showing the road as closed.
