KNUTSFORD Beer Festival is making a comeback in 2026.
The annual fundraiser was cancelled this year due to a lack of venue.
Plans are now full steam ahead for the celebration to be held at Egerton Primary School.
A large marquee will be set up in the playground from Thursday, May 28 to Saturday, May 30, next year.
A weekend of beer, live music and community spirit will raise funds for two local charities, Stable Minds and Knutsford Men’s Shed.
The festival has raised £62,000 for local charities since it was founded by Andrew Malloy 11 years ago.
Caroline Lowe, head teacher at Egerton Primary School, said: “I’ve always been a big supporter of Knutsford Beer Festival because they raise so much money for local charities and it’s such a fun event.
“So, when Andrew asked me if we could host it on the school grounds, I was delighted to say yes.
“It will be half term when the festival runs so it’s a great time to make use of the grounds while the school is empty.
“We are really proud to support the festival and can’t wait to see it next May.”
The festival will feature four sessions across three days.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, November 28.
Festival chairman Andrew Malloy explained how the charities have been selected this time.
He said: “There are so many charities doing great things for the community of Knutsford, it was very hard to choose.
“We narrowed it down to local charities that have a direct impact on the people of our town and then took a vote across the team.
“Many of us see the challenges around mental health and so we were keen to support charities that are doing a lot to help local people with this.
“Stable Minds and Men’s Shed are both playing a massive part in helping people across the community.
“I’ve always said, the beer festival is win-win.
“We raise loads of money to support our local charities and have loads of fun while we’re doing it.

“I’m so pleased we’ve got a venue secured for the festival, that’s always the hardest part.
“The team are already busy behind the scenes, making preparations, choosing beers, selling sponsorship, organising the marquee and all the other jobs that need to be done.
“It’s a real team effort and I can’t wait to see it all come together.
“For me, it’s the best day of the year.”
Festival goers can look forward to a wide variety of beers showcasing the very best from across Knutsford, Cheshire, and the North of England, alongside a refreshing selection of ciders.
For those who prefer wine, fizz, or gin, Morgan Edwards will once again host their much-loved wine, fizz and gin bar, offering a premium alternative for every taste.
Each evening will feature live music, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy great drinks and good company.
Tickets are £12.50 per session.
Businesses and local organisations can also get involved through sponsorship opportunities, starting from £100.
This includes access to some festival sessions and a chance to support this community event while gaining valuable local exposure.
