TICKETS for this summer’s revamped Knutsford Music Festival are flying out fast.
The town is set to become a hub of live music and community spirit again from Thursday, June 5 to Sunday, June 8.
With a vibrant rebrand and an introduction of soul and R&B, this year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Among the standout performances is acclaimed folk artist Katherine Priddy, whose appearance is already nearing sellout.
Fans are urged to book quickly to avoid disappointment.
Following on with a foot tapping contrast, an evening of Irish revelry will host multi-instrument act Wet The Tea.
Andy Connally plays flute, guitar, piano, Bodhran and vocals, Clare 'Fluff' Smith is on violin, cello and vocals and Adam Beresford-Brown plays guitar and vocals.
Support act is The Band With No Name with their foot stomping ballads and spirit lifting music.
Friday night’s headline act at St John’s Church is the AMC Gospel Choir, well known for their residency at Albert Schloss in both Manchester and Birmingham.
The singers have also celebrated performances with both the Manchester Camerata and Hacienda Classical.
This divine evening of soulful sounds and R&B classics promises to truly hit the spot with all ages, and brings a fresh, vibrant sound to this year’s festival.
The blues night makes a thunderous return to Knutsford Little Theatre on Saturday, June 7.
Headliners are the powerhouse Vincent Flatts Band and their Southern infused rock’n’roll, supported by Knutsford based duo Simister and Small, an electrifying night for blues fans.
The festival wraps up with the return of broadcasting legend Mark Radcliffe, leading Rusty’s Wild Rovers in a full-throttle folk singalong.
Hand-clapping rhythms to heartwarming ballads, it’s a chance for the audience to belt out traditional songs from all over the British Isles.
