THERE is heavy traffic in Ellesmere Port this morning (Friday, November 29) as shoppers attempt to grab some deals on Black Friday.
Roads near Coliseum Way Shopping Park and Cheshire Oaks are seeing a large volume of traffic, with several nearby routes also experiencing congestion.
Cheshire Police says that much of the traffic is likely caused by Black Friday.
Both areas are popular retail destinations with many offering designer and high street brands at discount prices.
There are currently queues on Longlooms Road, Stanney Lane and the A5117 towards Cheshire Oaks.
National Highways are reporting delays of around 10 minutes against expected traffic.
