CHESHIRE firefighters were called to a car fire in Ellesmere Port on Thursday afternoon, it has been confirmed.
One crew of Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) firefighters from Ellesmere Port was sent to Hooton Green at 5.25pm.

A CFRS spokesman confirmed that firefighters were forced to take action.
They said: “Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish a vehicle fire in Ellesmere Port.
“A thermal imaging camera was used to check the area.”
