A Chester-based artist's work is set to be displayed at the Grosvenor Shopping Centre this weekend.
Ann Reeve’s paintings and drawings will be featured at the Contemporary Art Space Chester (CASC) from November 2 to 29 with the support of the University of Chester.
The exhibition, titled 'Paintings and Drawings: A Retrospective', is free to attend and features a diverse range of subjects, from city scenes and traffic jams to elephants and farm animals.
Ms Reeve's artistic journey includes recently attending life drawing sessions at the University of Chester’s Creative Campus Kingsway, and she also previously held an exhibition at the same campus in 2013.
Her recent work 'draws attention' to the ordinary, with a twist of the extraordinary, inviting viewers to appreciate the coexistence of these two states.
The exhibition will be open from 10am to 4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Ms Reeve honed her skills at Lincoln Art School and has participated in drawing classes across London, York, and Chester.
In 2000, she showcased a painting in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, and between 2018 and 2019, she was the Artist in Residence at the Holy Ascension Church, Upton-by-Chester.
