A FIVE-year contract has been signed by one of the UK's largest engineering firms.
Cheshire-headquartered BGEN, one of the UK’s largest engineering firms specialising in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation, has announced that it has signed a five-year contract with the petrochemical manufacturer INEOS O&P UK.
Under this agreement, BGEN, based in Warrington, will provide a range of services to optimise plant efficiency at INEOS's Grangemouth site in Stirlingshire.
The contract includes providing engineering solutions and a comprehensive suite of electrical and instrumentation services.
BGEN will also take care of the installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and commissioning tasks, as well as provide the necessary materials and equipment.

"We look forward to delivering tailored services for INEOS O&P UK and contributing to the success of its operations at Grangemouth."
BGEN has had a strategic presence in Grangemouth since 2000.
Their Scottish operation has expanded and now employs 60 people, specialising in providing mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation services to businesses across various sectors including energy, FMCG, heavy industry, pharmaceutical, and utilities.
Centre Park in Warrington serves as the headquarters for BGEN, which currently employs 1,500 people across 14 locations in the UK, including regional offices in Barrow-in-Furness, Basildon, Grangemouth, Scunthorpe, Warrington, and Widnes.
