DARTS ICON Phil 'The Power' Taylor has issued a message to local fans of the sport ahead of a major event hosted by an ever-growing Flintshire-based business next year.
Ace of Sports was founded by Mold resident John Jones, who has taken the brand to incredible heights since forming eight years ago.
Earlier this year, there was a 'dream come true' for former footballer Mr Jones as he launched the Ace of Sports sports facility in his hometown.
As well as that, the business has become well-known for hosting top evenings with some of darts' best competitors past and present.
The first of its kind took place in 2023 when Michael Van Gerwen came to the Argoed Sports and Social Club in Mynydd Isa.
And earlier this year, the event became bigger and better as it saw Van Gerwen take on Taylor at Chester Racecourse in front of a 400-strong crowd of people.
The competition starts with local rounds in Flintshire, before the winner goes on to take on their darts hero(es).
Next year, Ace of Sports is raising the bar once more as they feature not two, but FOUR greats of the sport.
With 25 world titles between them, the event will feature current world number one Luke Humphries, who will take on his biggest rival and one of the biggest names in darts, Michael Van Gerwen.
On the very same night, two more world champions will face off to settle a bitter rivalry that has spanned more than 20 years. Dutch darting legend Raymond Van Barneveld will take on the man many regard to be the greatest dart player of all time, with 16-time world champion Taylor coming out of retirement for the night.
In the build up to the big event, taking place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, Ace Of Sports will be running a darts championship that will see 64 players battling it out for the chance to make it through to finals night.
The prelims will take place in Ace of Sports' training centre on the Bromfield Industrial Estate in Mold.
The finale will then again be held at Chester Racecourse, playing in front of a crowd for the 2025 Ace Of Sports Darts Championship trophy.
The winner of the championship will also have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to select one of the four players - Luke Humphries, Michael Van Gerwen, Phil Taylor or Raymond Van Barneveld - to face in a head to head match, live on stage.
Tickets are now on sale via the Ace Of Sports website.
Ace Of Sports Darts Championship places will be available to sign up for entry from Friday, November 1.
Ahead of the night, Taylor issued a video message (above) and said: "15th of February next year, Ace of Sports are putting on a great night of darts.
"There's me vs Raymond Van Barneveld, my old mate and the other game is Luke Humphries vs Michael Van Gerwen, which will be an absolute cracker - I'm even going to sit down and watch that one!
"See you there, God bless you!"
