A popular wizarding event is returning to Chester for its eighth year.
Chester Wizard School, an 'immersive experience' that brings the world of spells and potions to life, will be back at St Mary's Creative Space from October 31 to November 3.
The event, recommended for children aged five and above, allows young witches and wizards to learn magical skills such as casting spells, potion-making, and broom-flying, all guided by Professor Listworth and his team of professors.
Phil Cross, the creator of Chester Wizard School, said: "Nine years ago at Halloween I hosted a wizard-themed Halloween party for my mates and the idea was born.
"The following year we opened up our doors to the first batch of witches and wizards and each year it's grown and grown.
"We're now in our eighth year of Chester Wizard School and lots of our young wizards and witches keep coming back year after year.
"Professor Listworth and his team work really hard to create a magical, immersive experience for the whole family.
"It's rumoured that this year a unicorn might possibly appear in the grounds."
The event has been praised by young witches, wizards, and parents as 'the best day ever' and 'a truly magical experience not to be missed.'
This year, the organisers are introducing two SEND/relaxed sessions.
Mr Cross said: "Though we try to make all of our sessions accessible to all children, for those that might need it, we are running two reduced capacity, relaxed sessions."
Anyone with access needs is encouraged to contact the organisers at chesterwizardschool@gmail.com.
