A PROPERTY consultancy has announced nine promotions across the North West, including two in Chester, following a strong period of success for the firm.
Fisher German has promoted staff based at its offices in Chester, Manchester, Liverpool, and Knutsford across several areas of the business.
In Chester, Nia Borsey and Jack Harley have both been promoted to senior associates in planning and rural property management respectively.
In Liverpool, Tom Parry becomes associate partner within the valuation department, while Libby Clarke becomes a senior associate in Manchester.
And in Knutsford, Jennifer Brown and Nigel Fishwick become associate partners, Mikki Burton has been made a development surveyor, and Kayne Burgon and Helen Thomas become senior associate and senior lettings manager respectively within rural property management.
The promotions are among 53 that Fisher German has made across all areas of the business as part of its ongoing growth.
Tom Parry joined Fisher German as part of its merger with the former Matthews & Goodman in 2022.
He said: “I’m really pleased to have been promoted – I’ve worked hard to build up great rapport with our clients in the region and I think the promotion is a reflection of that.
“Our clients appreciate the excellent market knowledge the valuations team has in their respective cities and towns, and we’ve been able to grow that side of the business because of that attention to detail.”
And Nigel Fishwick, who provided lease advisory and rent review services in-house to clients such as Pets at Home and Boots over many years before joining Fisher German in 2022, was promoted after playing a key role in growing the commercial lease advisory team and also helping new graduates find their feet.
He said: “Since joining, I’ve helped some of Fisher German’s biggest clients with important lease advisory matters, such as negotiating new rental agreements across large portfolios, as well as winning new work.
“I also wanted to throw myself into the careers scheme by helping young graduates learn the basics of lease advisory and nurture their talent.”
Jennifer Brown, who joined the firm in 2022, is part of the firm’s Valuation and Professional Practice team and carries out a wide range of valuation and appraisal works for clients.
She said: “I am delighted to have been promoted to associate partner, having returned to the firm two years ago.
“Fisher German is a forward-thinking company with exciting future plans, and we have worked hard to strengthen and grow our Valuation and Professional Practice team in the Knutsford office.
“I look forward to continuing to deliver high quality advice to our clients in the North West and role modelling women in business.”
The promotions come after a successful 12 months for the firm which has seen it expand and relocate its offices in London and Birmingham and invest in an extensive refurbishment project at its Manchester office as it looks to strengthen its city-centre presence.
Fisher German has seen its national headcount almost double since 2017, with 806 staff members now based across its network of 26 offices.
The firm has made the latest promotions as part of its ‘Grow’ career progression framework which gives employees a clear pathway to advance within the business.
