A ROAD on the outskirts of Chester was closed in both directions last night (Sunday, September 15) after a crash saw a car overturn on to its side.
Two fire crews from Chester Fire Station attended the scene on Chester Road near Huntington shortly after 6pm.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters attended a two-vehicle road traffic collision where one of the vehicles had overturned onto its side.
“There were no reports of anyone being trapped, but firefighters did assess one casualty while paramedics treated one other.
“The road was closed in both directions while emergency services dealt with the incident.”
