A MAN has sadly died following a collision near Mold on Tuesday (September 10).
Shortly after 2pm, police were called to a report of a collision involving a car and a motorbike on the A541at Rhydymwyn near to the junction with B5123.
The rider of the motorbike, a 33-year-old man from Flintshire, was airlifted to Aintree Hospital, and sadly died on Thursday September 12, North Wales Police confirmed.
Inspector Iwan Roberts of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “Our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this difficult time.
“I would like to thank those who have already contacted us following the collision.
“Anyone who witnessed the collision and is yet to speak to us, or anyone travelling in the area prior to collision who may have dashcam footage, should contact us as soon as possible.”
