POLICE have launched an appeal following a serious collision in a Cheshire town involving a quad bike.

At about 7pm on Friday, August 30, police were called to reports of a collision at the junction of Broad Street and McLaren Street, Crewe.

The collision involved a blue quadbike.

Officers attended the scene along with paramedics and the rider of the quadbike, a 40-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains at this time.

Inspector Anton Sullivan said: “Enquiries are ongoing in relation to this incident, and we are now asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or the moments leading up to it, to get in touch with us.

“The same goes for anyone with any relevant dashcam or CCTV footage.”
