THREE fire crews were required at a disused building near Chester last night (Tuesday, August 3).
A fire engine from Ellesmere Port and two from Chester were called to the scene on Townfield Lane, near Mollington, at around 7.30pm.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Fire crews attended a call to smoke coming from a disused building.
“A small fire was extinguished by firefighters using a hose reel jet.
“It is suspected to have been started deliberately, police were on scene to help re-secure the building.”
