A CAR fire on a street in Ellesmere Port was tackled last night (Sunday, August 1) by Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service.
A fire engine from Ellesmere Port Fire Station arrived at the scene on Houghton Lane near the town centre at around 8.30pm.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
There were no reported injuries and the area was also checked for further hotspots.
