FIREFIGHTERS were called out to an incident close to a road near Chester.
One fire crew attended the scene in Shotwick-Frodsham Road at about 4.40pm on Saturday (August 24).
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters extinguished a bonfire using a hose reel jet because the smoke plume had potential to impact nearby roads."
