A Chester man was found dead at his home with self-inflicted wounds, a court has heard.
An inquest was opened into the death of Greyham Stone, 38, at Cheshire Coroners Court on Wednesday, July 10.
It was heard that Mr Stone was found dead at his home address on Duchess Place, Chester, on June 13 having suffered self-inflicted wounds.
Police were called and officers attended the scene where identification was carried out.
The reason for an inquest was due to the cause of death being determined as ‘unnatural’.
Concluding the hearing, area coroner of Cheshire, Jacqueline Devonish formally opened the inquest and adjourned it to take place on September 24.
A case review is to be prepared on September 8.
