A main road in Chester is closed this morning (Tuesday, July 9) due to a fallen tree.
Cheshire West and Chester Council has confirmed that Sealand Road is currently closed between the junctions of Ferry Lane and Western Avenue, Blacon, in both directions, as a result.
Drivers are being urged by the local authority: "Please avoid the area if possible".
Work is ongoing to remove the tree from the area and reopen the road.
