TWO fire engines were called to the centre of Ellesmere Port last night (Monday, June 10) after a fire was discovered in a disused building.
Fire crews from Powey Lane and Ellesmere Port Fire Station attended the scene on Whitby Road at around 7.10pm.
The fire had started among piles of rubbish within the building and a hose reel jet was used to put of the flames and damp down the surrounding area.
