A WORKER at a care home in Chester has been appointed as its new general manager.

Nicole Welch will oversee the running of the 38 bed home and will be responsible for a team of 49.

Nicole has been working at Crabwall Hall care home since 2017, where she started as a carer and has worked her way up.

Crabwall Hall is one of over 200 care homes owned by Barchester Healthcare that offers high quality care to its local communities.

The home regularly holds events and activities for its residents and surrounding neighbours.

The new general manager said: “I am so pleased that my position is now official, I love all the residents and the staff. I’m excited to see what the future holds for us all and continuing to provide high quality care.”

Lorraine Disley the regional operations director for Crabwall Hall, said: “I am pleased to welcome this addition to the team here at Crabwall Hall. We are committed to providing high quality care and I really think Nicole will be a big hit with our residents.” 

Crabwall Hall provides residential care for 38 residents from respite care to long term stays.
