CLOSURES have been put in place along Daresbury Expressway after a catering trailer carrying gas bottles overturned.
Police, fire and ambulance services were called to the incident outside Norton Priory at around 2.20pm this afternoon, Friday.
A spokesperson from Cheshire Police said: "One person was trapped in a catering trailer carrying gas bottles which overturned, they have been extracted from the vehicle by firefighters and there are no reports of any serious injuries."
Road closures have been put in place on both directions of the carriageway on Daresbury Expressway while the incident is being dealt with.
Cheshire Fire Service warned residents to 'please avoid the area if possible'.
