Iconic English singer Lisa Stansfield, best known for her chart-topping hit 'All Around the World' has joined the line-up for the Cheshire Fest.

This event will be held at a new location, Capesthorne Hall in Macclesfield on August 31.

Other artists already announced include acid jazz and funk group The Brand New Heavies, renowned dance vocalist Jocelyn Brown and house music pioneers, The Shapeshifters.

The festival will also feature emerging talent, reality stars turned DJs making for an eclectic presentation on stages across lush green Northern countryside.

"Cheshire Fest isn’t just a festival, it’s a moment in the calendar to celebrate culture," said Jon Fitz, creative director behind Cheshire Fest.

He also said: "We’re bringing some of dance musics’ finest acts and the region’s best food and beverages to our first year in the grounds of Capesthorne Hall.

"Everyone will be able to make their own day of the festival - there is something for everyone and it will be a party for the books!”

Acts rounding off the line-up include Lovely Laura and Ben Santiago, and The House & Garage Orchestra.

Herd & Fitz, creators of the early 00s hit ‘I Just Can’t Get Enough’ will also take the stage.

Festival goers can enjoy electronic tunes from Sweet Female Attitude, the Murphy Brothers, Electric Emma, JD and Tom Da Lips.

They could also relish a set by reality-star-turned-DJ Mark Wright.

The festival's main stage will host headline performances throughout the day, presented by familiar faces, including Scott Thomas.

Attendees can also enjoy world-class DJ sets at the House & Vocal in a first-time-ever 360 Dance Arena.

Cheshire Fest will also debut a Wellness Village for guests to relax and rejuvenate.

Offers include a 0% bar serving non-alcoholic beverages and juice detox sessions.
