McDonald's is among the latest establishments in Wrexham to get a new food hygiene.

Food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Wrexham’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: The Duke of Wellington at Duke Of Wellington Inn Duke Street, Ruabon; rated on April 17.

• Rated 5: The Snack Bar at Units At 124 Rhosnesni Lane, Wrexham; rated on April 16.

• Rated 5: Greggs at Unit 28 The Bridgeway Centre Bridge Road, Wrexham Industrial Estate; rated on April 12.

• Rated 5: Nags Head at Nags Head Mount Street, Wrexham; rated on April 10.

• Rated 5: Grove Park Theatre at Little Theatre 14 Hill Street, Wrexham; rated on April 18.

Plus three ratings for takeaways:

• Rated 5: TSK Wrexham Extra at Tesco Stores Ltd Crescent Road, Wrexham; rated on April 12.

• Rated 5: Mr Tee's Wrexham at 21 Lord Street, Wrexham; rated on April 11.

• Rated 5: McDonald's at Mcdonalds Restaurant 30 - 32 Regent Street, Wrexham; rated on April 10.
