A STRETCH of main road in Cheshire West is closed this evening (Wednesday, April 24) after a two-vehicle crash.
Traffic monitoring service Inrix reports that the A41 is closed in both directions near Delamere following the incident.
The road is closed between B5152 Abbey Lane to A49 Tarporley Road.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said a casualty was trapped in one of the vehicles so firefighters worked with paramedics to release the casualty, who was then taken to hospital by North West Ambulance Service.
The road remains closed as of 8.30pm.
