FIREFIGHTERS were called out to two separate evening incidents in Ellesmere Port.
One fire crew attended the scene of a deliberate fire in Cromwell Road at about 8.40pm yesterday (Wednesday, April 17).
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A large wheelie bin that contained a fire inside was attended and extinguished by firefighters.
"It is believed it had been deliberately set alight."
In a separate incident one fire crew attended the scene of a fire in Whitby Road at about 8.15pm yesterday (Wednesday, April 17).
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Rubbish on fire in a metal trolley situated in an alleyway was extinguished by firefighters using water."
