TWO fire crews and a fire investigation officer were called out to an incident at a property near Chester.
Two fire engines from Chester and Tarporley and a fire investigation officer from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene in Pulford Court yesterday (Monday, April 15) at about 2.30pm.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish a fire on the ground floor of a home.
"A high-pressure fan was used to clear the smoke, and a thermal imaging camera was used to check the property for hot spots.
"It is believed the probable cause of ignition was an unattended toaster."
