TWO lanes were closed on the M56 eastbound near Frodsham this afternoon (Friday, April 12) following a crash at junction 12.
Traffic was queuing from junction 15 (Little Stanney) to junction 14 (Elton) following the incident, which was first reported just after 12pm.
The incident has since been cleared, and all lanes are now open, however National Highways are advising delays of around 15 minutes for motorists travelling on the route.
