A RETAIL park car park has become the latest site in a Cheshire town to become the subject of an unauthorised encampment.
Around 10 caravans and associated towing vehicles pitched up on the car park of Junction Nine Retail Park, Warrington, onWednesday.
The unauthorised encampment is towards the northern end of the Winwick Road site, on land recently converted to car parking outside recently finished new shop units.
It follows a series of other incursions by caravans across the town over recent days and weeks.
Eight caravans and towing vehicles pitched up on the car park of Marks and Spencer, off Europa Boulevard in Gemini, on Sunday.
Moreover, Cheshire Police was called to Morrisons off Wilderspool Causeway yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, after travellers arrived.
Last week, no less than five sites reported caravans pitching up, including in Birchwood and Stretton.
