A 38-year-old man has been arrested after concerns were raised on social media.
Concerned parents have taken to X/ Twitter to raise concerns over fundraising activities for a football trip abroad.
Cheshire Police have released a brief statement to confirm the man from Ellesmere Port has been arrested on suspicion of theft.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "Victims are being supported by officers and enquiries in relation to the incident are underway."
