A NINE year old boy was allegedly assaulted at the play park at a popular visitor attraction in Cheshire.
Police have now launched an investigation into the incident at the play area in Tatton Park, Knutsford, on Saturday, March 30, at about 3.45pm.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to come forward following the incident.
Police attended the scene and located all parties.
As a result of the investigation a woman has been interviewed under caution and enquiries are on-going to establish the full circumstances.
PC John Millman said: “The park was very busy that day with lots of visitors.
"I’m very keen to hear from anyone who was there that day in the play park around 3.45pm and saw any incident between a boy and a female.”
