A LARGE emergency service presence was spotted in Runcorn last night after a person fell down an embankment.
Fire crews attended the scene in between Astmoor and Windmill Hill at around 7.35pm last night, Thursday.
Firefighters assisted other emergency services to rescue a person who had slipped down a steep muddy embankment.
A specialist rope rescue unit from Lymm attended to help to get the person out.
As well as a fire engine and the rope rescue unit, police and ambulance crews were also at the scene.P
