FIREFIGHTERS were called out to an incident at a property in a Cheshire village.
One fire crew from Tarporley attended the scene in Cholmondeley Lane, Bulkeley, at about 9.20am today (Thursday, April 4).
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters removed a fire and the grate from the hearth and used chimney rods to extinguish a chimney fire.
"They then monitored the temperature using a thermal imaging camera to ensure there were no further hotspots."
