THE owners of a stunning country home and grounds in Cheshire are set to host a garden party in aid of children’s charity, Adoption Matters.

Kate and Martin Slack, the owners of Ashton Grange, will host the event in the scenic grounds of their home on Saturday, June 29.

The event will be open to the public and the event is a chance for Adoption Matters adopters and supporters to come together for a day of family fun.

From 12:30 until 4:30pm, guests will be able to enjoy acres of picturesque gardens and woodlands, a forest school, a children’s entertainer, a children’s tombola, a raffle and a cake sale of especially baked goods courtesy of Kate and some of the local villagers.

Chester and District Standard:

The price of the event is just £10 per adult with all children attending for free, and if you adopted through Adoption Matters then you will receive a discount of 50 per cent.

Any additional funds raised from the event will go towards supporting many more adoptive families, children, adopted adults and birth families.

Annie O’Neill, Adoption Matters’ Fundraising and Relationship Manager, said: “Kate and Martin are long-term supporters of our charity and they have hosted many events in support of Adoption Matters previously – each time they have been extremely well enjoyed by those who have attended.

“We are so thankful to them and to have this wonderful event to offer to our families is amazing, but we also openly welcome any member of the public who wishes to come down and enjoy the beautiful environment, get involved and potentially make a big difference to children and their family’s lives.”
