TWO fire engines were called out to a property in Ellesmere Port.

Firefighters from Ellesmere Port and Powey Lane stations attended the scene in Cedar Avenue at about 8.30pm yesterday (Tuesday, March 26).

A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters in breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet and a high pressure fan to put out a fire and clear smoke in a kitchen."
