POLICE say they no arrests have been made after a raid on an empty pub in a Cheshire town centre.
A huge cannabis farm was discovered in the property on Barbauld Street, Warrington, on Tuesday morning.
Police have today, Wednesday, confirmed 720 plants were recovered but say enquiries are continuing and no arrests have been made.
A large search was made following the raid at 9am on Tuesday - with the force helicopter seen circling the town centre - but no arrests were made.
A police spokesman today, Wednesday, said: "On Tuesday, March 19, officers from the Northern Problem Solving Team and Warrington Neighbourhood executed a warrant at a large disused pub in Warrington town centre.
"It is estimated that 720 plants have been recovered. No arrests have been made. Enquiries are continuing.
