DISRUPTION is expected as two bridges along the River Weaver will be swung this week for testing.
The Canal and Rivers Trust has confirmed that both Northwich Town Swing Bridge and Hayhurst Swing Bridge will swing twice on Wednesday (March 20).
The Town Bridge, on the A533, will swing once at 10am and then again at 12.30pm.
"This is for test purposes only," reads a social media post by the CRT.
Hayhurst meanwhile, will swing at 9.30am and 2.30pm.
This will likely cause delays on the roads in Northwich town centre, with each of the swings expected to take around 20 to 30 minutes.
