A PUB on the outskirts of Chester city centre is seeking new owners.
The Corner Pin on Saltney High Street is currently on the market with a guide price of £195,000.
The detached property, which faces the A5104 is traditional in style and dates from 1863.
Previously managed by Winwick Taverns, the Corner Pin was one of three pubs in Saltney that were at the centre of a debate around Coronavirus restrictions in 2020, as its position on the high street meant that it was unable to open due to Welsh Government regulations.
Now part of Chester-based Admiral Taverns, the company describe the freehold as:
“A detached property of brick construction, rendered and painted to all elevations extending to 2 storeys under a pitched tile roof.
“Inner entrance porch leading through to a good sized bar area. The bar servery stretches alongside the right of the pub with both fixed and loose seating to accommodate approximately 40 persons in total with additional standing areas.
“Towards the rear of the pub is the games area with dart board. The pub is clean and well lit with wooden floors throughout.
“Outside there is a smoking solution to the right hand side of the pub. Ladies and Gentleman’s toilets.”
