Sunday dinners in Chester city centre were disrupted on March 17 when a power cut hit the area.
Customers dined in the dark and trains were delayed as a result of the outage, which hit many properties in the CH1 area of Chester, including restaurants on Bridge Street, Pepper Street and Newgate Street.
SP Energy Networks said at the time of the incident: "We had no advanced warning of this and became aware of it at 4.56pm.
"Our engineers have arrived onsite to find and fix the fault as quickly and safely as possible.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
Rail operator Merseyrail added: "Due to a power cut at the station at Chester, the Chester line was disrupted."
Some of its services were impacted as a result of the power cut.
Power was successfully restored to the area at about 6.20pm.
